• using my draft workshop page, coppied over the main puppetry tab and all the gallery links
• took a couple new picktures of Kathy Bucket so i could add the finished photos to her gallery and thumbnail
• copied over the new puppetry gallery to the original page and wiped the workshop page
• corrected the background image on the new page
• added kathy bucket page to the navigation, also made the rat king page accessible
• deleted unused stuff from the bottom of the rat king page
• added borders to images
• added borders to specifically gallery images and removed it from my main sona

July 15 2025

• Made a new variable page for the dark theme pages
• changed the transparent textures into varaibles as well
• finished changing over the dark mode page to the right css and base, why isn't my background color black????
• gave up on fixing the background cover and went to change over my other dark mode pages to the new system
• made a new id for the boxgap when the nav is removed to remove the extra margin
• removed font style italic from the header link css
• figured out how to use strong in the headers to change the font to the standard font, allowing numbers
• updated show logs 2024 & 2025, experimental theater, mending, and the rest of the junk drawer pages
• created new binder pages for my pixellbill binder to seperate my collected vs created pixels and updated it
• tried to fix the cursor on hover but it didn't work so ill save that for later

July 14 2025

• time to clean up my graphics folder
• went through each background, moved it into background folder and gave it a new name, then fixed it on both old and new css. did the same for the cloth transparent textures
• deleted a whole bunch of unused fonts
• and backgrounds
• updated the specific dark mode pages but i have few enough of these i think it would be worth using the new css and finding a better system then copying them, maybe by linking a different variable page
• added the outta hand puppet slam to my resume
• cleaned up and removed extra junk from my to-do list
• made each of my dev log years into iframes on the dev page, to finally cut down on the crazy load times i was getting!

• made a new template for project galleries

• started reworking featured projects page
• made a new column type for centering photos, dissapears when the window is shrunken
• removed borders from images and captions, it just looks weird when they're next to each other and one is longer than the other
• finished reowrking the featured page (well it could use some touch ups, but nothing that i need the main page for) so it replaced the current page
• finished reworking the index page! easy one
• started on resume
• resume had lots of weird stuff going on like using br instead of paragraph breaks, putting the id in the italics, and using abbr instead of title in the link
• spent way too long looking for press links for my resume
• updated my storefront to the new layout but honestly i need to spend more time on it in general
• fixed the current page greyouts on new page menus

• my left shift key is broken this sucks
• found a new font!
• started from scratch on my image gallery columns
• tried new methods to get the border to ring the whole image and not look awkward on the alt text, but couldn't find a new method and still had to use an additional div anyway
• it's still much cleaner than it was before
• cleaned up the sidebar colors to change variables for all the font, the fabric font background requires me to put the font attribute right next to the background, so routing it to the variable lets me change the color based on the section much easier
• played around with the media widths to make the columns resize nicely
• FINALLY fixed my box sizing so that the narual width of the body fills the space and it's the boxes themseves with margins instead of the headers and footers having negative margins jesus christ
• started moving around the media queries for the box stuff too so it's closer to the original thing
• fancy triangles on the sidebar buttons now
• made the sidebar links underline on hover to add more visual distinction
• added fringe to the bottom of the sidebar when it transforms into the top bar! yay!
• removed extra padding from either side of headers now that the sizing is fixed
• shrunk header line height
• played around with header sizing and spacing for a while and evened everything out
• forgot i cant do text shadow with my font texture setup :(
• replaced container and sidebar tabs with main and nav for easier screenreader navigation
• same with footer
• played around with the way that links change the colors of the text, and ended up making it individula for each kind of text within the paragraphs, lists, etc
• line height of headers back to 1em to not cut off the tops
• variables will still work for the different page setup i have going on, will also probably make it easier to change font colors if i want to in the future

• Updated resume
• Time to get some real work done on cleaning up the css
• made a new test page and brand new universal css and variables page
• started with the sidebar
• cleaned up the variables for the background
• cleaned up and consolidated variables for text attributes
• made the header fotn less weird
• used lists in the footer andused before and after to add fancy little triangles on either side, way better than having so many images to poy and paste each time
• made new pain text buttons and added little fancy triangles to either side
• messed around with the order of links and bottons for a long time in order to get them to highlight properly on hover and correctly open the tabs
• tested buttons with my year selection from my resume page
• started new folders for site graphics so i can copy over ones im using and later purge ones im not
• considered using the square image galleries that i made for the RARE website, but they just take so long to impliment and i dont need that level of professionalism here
• tried to copy over the character image with box that i used on the fruit salad site, but it didn't work and i got frustrated and gave up
• tested out adding my charcater to the sidebar, but it blocked buttons and i'll need to mess with sizing another time. it isn't a priority

• decided to remake a blog sort of section now that i have a better idea of what it will look like
• messed around with my blog template page, made it dark mode, created a new style sheet for the dark mode
• do i want to have each post be a tab on a main page or for it all to be seperate pages that share the same sidebar nav? tab pages: dont have to make a ton of files and new folder system, but i wont be able to link to the different entires as easily, and the page will gt super long and tough to find things in. seperate pages: will be able to link to specific entires, but will have to copy over the navigation every time i make a new page. unless i just leave the navigation to a home page and you have to click back every time
• maybe i'll just do that. also saves me the headache of the scroll box not working properly inside my sidebar nav when it switches to mobile mode
• i think i'll just get rid of the navigation bar on the side for the actual blog entries then. if a post references a specific project i'll just link it, and i want it to be a little more streamlined and less busy
• my show blog will be a part of this new system. which means yes i am going to have to change that in every nav. once i get this squared away
• made a new template page for these writing posts
• okay here's the format: the Notion's Notions/study page is the writings landing page (and will be linked in the nav), the other pages will stem from there, but won't have a sidebar. they'll just link back to the study page

• removed all old digital art links from navigation and replaced them with new page links, fully updated navigation with all the new links

• The plan for today: change my clothing page into a textile page. re-organize the sections into from scratch, mending/patching, and misc. combine the pages that were previously split into ones i made for me and ones i made for sale. rename the folder and make sure everything in it moves over correctly

• next, turn the digital art page into a micelanny page. organize into digital art, traditional, sculpture
• change all these on the sidebars
