Aster Jacket

I found this strange little guy at a thrift store. I started adding to him in little ways at first, gave him some horns and a little bit of jewelry, but decided he deserved a little outfit as well.

I wanted to make him a cool guy jacket, and had plenty of red pleather left I had used for a Rocky Horror Eddie vest. The basic pattern was taken from a Build-a-bear jacket, and then altered to fit him and the style. I decided it needed some decoration, so I based the painted designs all over the vest on the Dark Crystal concept art by Brian Froud.
