Costume
The suit jacket was searched out, the rest of the outfit thrifted. Ronnie searched out some rubber stamps that had a similar serif style to the original costume. We knew the stamps wouldn't be perfect, but the stamped/typewritter aesthetic matched the charcter better than handpainted designs. There is no reason or pattern to the real puppet's costume, so we were free to make it up.
Synth
The synth is made totally of junk and random trash. Bottle caps, old beads, etc. In a classic kitbashing style, it's all superglued together and spray-painted. It has four locking pin-backs on the back, which allow it to pin right onto their shirt.
I was planning on painting the entire thing silver and masking off the metal parts to paint the white, but my tape refused to stick to the silver paint! I ended up hand-drawing the white sections with a paint pen. It works, if you don't look too close.
The red LED has a small watch battery taped to the back.
