Process
I decided to make this plush when I discovered this pattern by CirquellCuriosities, and felt like sizing it up to twice it's original size to a more huggable heft. He's based on my original General D. costume design for the Raggedy Ann musical.
After I had made one, a friend comissioned me to make a second one for them. Both plushes were made of fabric scraps already in my colleciton.

His whiskers are made from leather strips pulled through the fabric with the help of a needle.
The first sash I made for the plush was purple. Later on, while making the second one, I made two red satin sashes which I like a lot more. Both of them got assorted medals and decorations on theirs.
