Волк (Volk)

Волк (Volk) is the main character and antagonist from the Russian show Ну, погоди! (Nu, Pogodi!), which I and a friend fell in love with. So I decided to make him for them! I purposefully picked a pattern that was simple and squat, digging through free patterns on blogs until I came across this dog one. I adjusted it to make the nose longer and more pointed, and created a different ear pattern.

All of the materials were pulled from my scrap bin. The arms were sewn seperately and attached after I had added the shirt and sleeves to the individual pieces. The hair is simply stitched on top. I'm hoping someday to use the same pattern to make the other character from the show!
