Puppets

The more I work on them, the more I am sure that puppets are just my favorite thing to make! I love the idea of something being both animated and grounded at the same time, both unreal and physically in front of you, like an actor in character but also tied to a specific object. The way our brains trick themselves into believing in puppets is so wonderful to me. Plus, there's so much freedom in style, both in how they move and what they look like. So I am always excited when I get the chance to work on some puppets.
